The Spinalator is an intersegmental traction table. The table has three rotating rollers on a triangle that rotates. As this triangle rotates, the roller lifts and separates the segments of the spine. The patient lies on the table and the rollers come up to gently lift the body up, opening up the facet joints, moving the discs to get more osmosis working in it, and therefore also stretching out the muscle spasms which relaxes the patient and helps the stability of the back. The intersegmental traction Spinalator aides in reducing or stabilizing spinal degeneration and subluxation.
